Can anyone provide any restaurant suggestions for Park Rapids?

I haven't been there in a few years now and all I remember the Pizza place.

Any suggestions?

thanks

Well, I'm sure there are people far more qualified to post this list, but here it goes...

The "Y" Steak House.
Kahn's Mongolian Barbeque.
West 40
The Dorset General Store (Dangerously close to stage roads)
The Minnesota Fountain
Schwarzwald Inn
Wimpy's Cafe
Bogey's Sports Grill
Gilberts
Great Northern Cafe
Long-Van Chinese
Oasis Family restaurant

McD's
BK
TacoBell
TacoJohn's
DQ
A&W
Subway

Just did a search on qwestdex.com

You mean Companeros Mexican Restaurant?

Or the Dorset Cafe?

Or Dorset House Restaurant?

Last time I was there, it looked like Long Van was closed...that would be too bad, because their Chinese food was good - and inexpensive, as well.

Kahn's is...well, Kahn's. It's just like all the other ones - Kahn's is a chain. You either like Mongolian barbecue or you don't.

The West 40 is plain food...burgers, salads, roast beef and chicken dinners. There's lots of it, and the service is good. Drinks served in Mason jars...tractor parts on the walls. Popular place for the locals to have Sunday dinner.

A friend of mine used to (probably still) owns the Logging Camp. It's a mile or so outside of town, and serves huge family-style meals in a - you guessed it - logging camp atmosphere.

For the midday feast on saturday (and possibly sunday on the way out) we will be hitting the A&W Drive In restaurant. I love eating at those places. Although, we may end up at the West 40. Very good food, good service, and as Bruce mentioned the "Mason Jars".
