Cline stoked to be returning to Missouri

After the season opener on some of the most difficult road conditions ever seen, the Exedy Rally Team is happy to face the fast roads of the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood, based around Salem, MO on February 24th and 25th. Sixty-five cars that entered the event will race over 110 competitive stage miles on the roads in the famous forests of Missouri. Evan Cline and Grzegorz Dorman will pilot their Exedy Clutch supported Subaru Impreza STI in the highly-contested Super Production (SP) class.

The duo finished 4th in SP and 11th overall last year’s event, and the Cline Racing Sports crew has again set their goal to finish at the top in the 2012. Since last year’s event, their Subaru has had a complete overhaul and upgrade to the STI version. Their upgrade debut, at the season-opening round, the Sno*Drift Rally, was a success where Cline and Dorman secured a top ten overall result.

Starting in the top 15 of almost seventy cars that entered the event, in itself looks like a success for this privateer team from Brighton, MI.

Evan Cline, CRS driver: “I feel confident on the roads, they suit my driving style and are just a blast to drive. I am more mentally prepared for this rally than any other event so far, the car is all set and I enjoy this race. I think the additional power upgrades in the car will make it easier to drive and help us be more competitive in our class.”

Grzegorz Dorman, CRS co-driver: “The competition in Super Production class is very high as usual, and we love to fight for every second on the stages. Our goal in Missouri is to top the result from last year’s good finish. We know it won’t come easy, but are certainly going to try our best to do it. We have always had fun on the twisty, wide and fast roads in the forest of Winnie the Pooh and it’s what tigers like the most!”

Cline Racing Sports is supported by Exedy Racing Clutch, Disc Brakes Australia, Hawk, Recaro, Innovate Motorsports, Magnus Motorsports, Whiteline and Mobsteel.
