Three-time American 2WD Rally Champion Chris Duplessis last week had his first taste of World Rally Championship competition last weekend in Wales at Rally Great Britain. The experience wasn’t completely a good one. He rolled the R2 ford Fiesta while in fourth place on Day 2 in the event.

Tech House & Speed talked with Chris just hours after his return from Wales about what happened in the accident, what he learned from the world class competition and how this will help him in 2012 when he runs a full Rally America campaign in a new Ford Fiesta R2.

Tech House & Speed this week also had an exclusive, in-depth conversation with Tanner Foust who won an appeal to the FIA last week. The decision overturns a decision that excluded him from the Dutch round of the European Rallycross Championship. It allows Foust to move into second in the 2011 champion. Tanner is the only American to ever run in the highest levels of international rallycross, win events and finish as a challenger to the overall title.
