The 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS rally car will be on display at the 2011 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show which is held each year at the Las Vegas convention center in Las Vegas, NV. The week-long event is the largest annual automotive specialty-equipment show in the world and hosts over 1500 vehicles that will be showcased for visitors to enjoy. Doors open to exhibitors starting on Tuesday November 1st at 9:00am.

“This is an amazing opportunity for not only, but for rally in general. SEMA show sees hundreds of thousands of visitors and I am thrilled to be able to have our car on display. There will only be a few purpose built rally cars there, so we are honored to be an ambassador for our form of motorsport.” explained owner Aaron Ekinaka.

While the SEMA show is not open to the public, it draws in the automotive industry’s biggest and most active players, in addition to a wide variety of media attention. This kind of exposure is a unique opportunity for our grassroots website devoted to Subaru Impreza off-road and rally enthusiasts.

In preparation for the show, the car has been stripped of its current year livery of brown stars over black paint and is being repainted a brilliant white. This will make an excellent blank canvas for a highly visible, custom vinyl layout. Specific details will continue to be finalized in the coming weeks before the event.

While the race car will be required to prominently display logos of the companies making the SEMA show possible for us (Baja Designs, CSF Racing, Rally Innovations, and Pentech Automotive) we will also have the opportunity to carry the logos of our sponsors that have helped get this car to where it is today. If you are attending and would like to arrange a meeting with at the event, please feel free to call us ahead of time at (949) 294-3355.
