Driver of the 555 Rally Sport Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type RA, Pete Hascher, will compete in the fourth round of Atlantic Rally Cup at Rally West Virginia, headquartered at the beautiful Snowshoe Mountain Resort. The Ohio-based driver has invited Polish native Grzegorz Dorman to co-drive at the event known for its smooth and technical roads.

The event will take place among the ski resort and national forest, with almost 136 competitive stage miles over two days of racing. After a two-year break, the anticipated rally is back on the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) calendar.

The team will pilot a unique 1995 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type RA, which was originally built to Group N specs and used by Prodrive as a practice and recce vehicle. The car has become well known since Hasher started actively racing among Rally America and NASA series. The historic vehicle with the original livery, paired with Pete’s all out driving style, have shown to be a crowd favorite.

“I’m excited to get the chance to compete at West Virginia, hearing great things about the rally since I started in the sport. It’s great to have the event back in the NASA series says Hascher. “The car is better than ever, we spent a lot of time preparing for the event. I can’t wait to get back in the dirt, and with a navigator who has competed there before it should be good experience for me,” he continues.

Co-driver Greg Dorman competed at the event in 2006 and 2007. “I have had a pleasure to compete on the roads of Rally West Virginia. The event is a lot of fun and I am looking forward to sitting with Pete. I had a chance to compete against him few times this season and I have seen him progress quickly since he started rallying about two years ago,” he said.

555 Rally Sport is supported by Frontier Trailer Sales, Jones Delivery and Drift Innovation.
