Well that's what I mean. Us central division guys who didn't show up to NEFR will take the top 10. We can't slow the other teams, just need to drive faster than them.

My car isn't looking to be ready in time for Ojibwe. Bummer because it would be a good shakedown.

I honestly looked at if there was any possible way for me to make Ojibwe. The roads there are amazing! Considering the shape of both my rally cars and bank account there is no way. Maybe next year though.

what needs to be done to it and why aren't you doing it?

Ojibwe roads are some of the best anywhere, with a variety of stages that well exceeds that of most events these days, including LSPR.

Losing that event would be like learning there is an extinct race of women that were meh about shopping, loved beer, and thought everyone needs a motorcycle and a rally car!

OFR needs a few more entries to keep it healthy! But I'm ridiculously excited for LSPR! It's sounding like MaxAttack is going to make it the event to be at for 2010. I'll have the wrong number of axles and differentials though. I'm looking forward to losing to a bunch of 2wd cars!!

Funds are limiting factor in the car build. I've got the time/resources. I would have sold my STi already, but I'm using it to try and win a free set of wheels/tires.

You could throw in a 2WD trans in the car and come play with us.

I'll be there in my usual context, hopefully with a huge video crew. My goal for LSPR is so lofty that I am not even allowed to say it outloud.
Thanks for the offer Grant. As of right now it looks like we will be going 90 to 94 through N. Dakota. We will see what weather is like. Plus I think we are going to pull the car/trailer so the RV bed, dinette can stay set up and we can rotate sleepers/drivers. Get it all done in one big 1,957 mile push.

I am so excited for LSPR. One of may favorite side benefits of rally is seeing new areas I would never go. Looks like I'll be getting a whole hell of a lot of that. That and the thoughts of some of the best 2WD action in N. America gets me going a bit.

Grant, your videos continue to top themselves and your thoughts of whirllybirds astounds me.

Is it October yet?
