Sell my Rally car

Or considering it really. I have too many projects on the go this year (work and home projects) and it's looking like I'll have a hard time getting out to rally. I also have a new project car in the garage, that is screaming to be a rally car, but won't have time to finish it until next winter.

I'll post in the Classifieds eventually with more details, but thought it made more sense to post here first. Most of you know the car, but here are a few details:

1988 Golf (I think the only original items are the shell, dash, and brake MC)
2.0L 16v with LOTS of work done (About $5K worth of work)
Dual Dellorto carbs, MSD Ignition (I still have all fuel injection components, plus some extra goodies, if you think putting carbs on a VW is blasphemy)
Lots of spare parts (including 6 brand new mud tires, 6 yoko gravels, 5 worn old gravels, I think 8 studded winters, and about 20 spare alloy rims)
$9,000 for everything and you can go rallying.

Some maintenance issues to get it ready for next race, otherwise ready to go. It's a good G2 car, has the capibility to be fast with a better driver. I'd be happy to provide all details about the car if you're interested.

Now, I have a shoe-string budget, and I'm not sure if I can afford 9000, would there be any way you could part with it for slightly less?

Not really, unless you don't want the mud tires, which someone else happens to be interested in. Read the build sheet (sent to your email). If I sell it I won't need any of the wheels, spares, etc, as I'll be building a different car. One option is without the mud tires, which someone else happens to be interested in. But really, it's all stuff you'll want or need and end up buying for retail at some point in the future anyways. Keep in mind that there is about $3,000 worth of just tires and wheels included. Ask around, it's a fair price for the car, and for less money than it cost me to build it (and I did almost all work myself).
