Valley Mitsubishi Top 2WD Prize Fund - Big White Winter Rally

Competitor driven voluntary cash prize funds, common in the US Pacific Northwest, is a tradition we'd like to borrow and grow for the Big White Winter Rally Weekend. This effort got a big boost recently from the local Mr. Lube. They are providing the seed starts for the rally weekend prize funds, including the top 2WD finisher:

We're encouraging everyone to consider adding to the fund, and with a little bit from a bunch of sources, it will grow into a healthy reward. Thanks to Dan @ Mr. Lube for supporting 2WD competition!

Contributions can be submitted to the registrar accompanying event registration or on their own; prize fund jars will be also be available at registration to collect new donations and the donations listed in these threads. Please voice your participation by adding to this thread....

This rally hasn't had a chance to do anything typically ... first time event but the area has been used for testing!

My experience has been that gravel tyres do not make suitable spares at a Canadian Snow Rally...

I'd enter this rally but I'm building a new car for 2009. I do hope all of the 2WD teams have fun! Thanks to all of the volunteers and event organizers!!

Craig Ross, who is competing in the rally this weekend, has been pounding the pavement here in Kelowna trying to drum up support for the Big White Prize Funds. As a result of this effort, another $50 has been added to the 2WD purse. Please consider putting in a few dollars for any of the prize funds to show your support for our new stage event and the teams who are making the effort to come out and see the new roads!
