Thumbs up 2010 Unleashed Mustang Throwdown

Following Ojibwe Forest Rally, Ford announced last night that the next morning there would be a rally throwdown. Mark Utecht vs. Mike Hurst head to head, 8 stages, same co-driver (Rob Bohn) in the 2010 Mustang that Mark ran in the Ojibwe Forest Rally. Lowest total time gets use of a 2010 Mustang for the year!

The looks on both Mark's and Mike's faces when they announced were priceless. Stay tuned for the outcome of this awesome promotion!

background.... Ford Motor Company did a similar promotion early this summer with the 2010 Unleashed Mustang and drag racing. Shop teacher vs. Student and the Student won.

I sure hope they have full blown video coverage of this (with in-cars, etc)! I just hope they don't do what Dougie? did when they did the all-star challenge back in the 80's.

Default Ford Rocks

How did this 2010 Mustang come into Utecht and Bohn's capable hands in the first place? I missed the 2010 Unleashed story. So cool! Who prepped it?

Great drive Friday! I wish I coulda been there, competing in a rwd, competing in the WRX, or even spectating.

Agreed - I noticed that too, the tag lines are ..."poor, at best" I'm no saint, but glad the SS moderators have more tact that that

I wonder what "any they wonder why" means? My generation is not familiar with that saying. Sorry but too funny talking about how people can't talk with a giant typo.

I hadn't noticed it because I don't bother reading sig lines so I went back and read it but as stupid as the comments are they are not worth warning people about unless you are reading aloud all links on SS to a bus load of nuns. If anything the warning will make more people read them as did I.

Well, well, well?
Or was this all just a cunning plan for attention?
