I'm working at replacing 'Youth and Exuberance' with 'Old Age and Treachery.'
We shall see how that works out at Doo-Wops in seven days.

How far from Seattle are you now, John? I'll buy you dinner when I'm in Seattle next month if you finish Doo Wops!

Make the trip. I'd be delighted to see you.

I'll also take you for a ride in the Volvo.
This may help you to get your Frog running. Here's hoping. I'd like to hear the Frog make the spectators nervous the way the Volvo did when it had those IDA-3 carbs on it.

Mike what is this IF shit?
John,

Congrats to you and Ray for the overall Doo Wop win! 2WD rocks, as usual!

I have two shots at buying you dinner - I'm in Seattle with the Dodge tour 11 - 13 Mar (drifting a Caliber SRT4 twice a day - who-da thunk it?) but things are jumping enough at those that a 200-mile round trip one evening might be dicey. But if I button up a Steward gig for McQuaid at Olympus (and finagle flights from Tulsa to Minneapolis to SeaTac to Cincinnati to Tulsa with tour stops and the rally in between) we can get together in April. PM me your cell number.

Again, Well Done! Ya gotta love the Sunday finishing order - Subie - VOLVO - Subie - Subie - Subie - Subie - Subie - Subie.

Thanks Mike,

Many never thought it possible.

For the first time I've put the time and energy into getting things well and truly RIGHT and am not using cobbled together this and that for suspension.
Sellholm's goodies are expensive but WORK and the car came home without a one dent to show for it.

I've not been one to spin on stage (it has happened, not often) and better suspension just helps that much more.

Today the car will find it's way onto the hoist so that I can have a look at what is rattling over bumps.

Again.... Thank you to Mr Hintz who sold me a pair of used Kumho soft compound tires that we put on the front. Made all the difference as suddenly the nose of the car would respond to steering inputs.

Had I been in the seat in the last six years I'd have known that it should be making more grip but Ray forbade me from testing anywhere near stage roads. I was a good boy and didn't cheat.

Mike be sure that you make it up here.

John Lane
