He was an incredible person. It's sad to think I was talking to him just 2-1/2 weeks ago. My heart and prayers go out to his family.

Although I never met Jake I have read the stories here and feel sad that I never had the opportunity to meet him.

i too never had the privilage to meet jake, but i have been reading the stories and praying hard, and i am greatly saddened to hear this news. My prayers and thoughts are still with the family and friends of this great man.

Very sad to hear. Though I too never had the privilege to meet Jake, I have read many of Jake's posts over the years. Jake was a great ambassador for grassroots rallying. RIP Jake.

The Himes family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I am proud to say i have competed with Jake, even if it was only once and i was just a navvie.

I am so glad I got to meet Jake and hang out with him a bit this year. This saddens our household deeply.
