    Good luck with the re-build!
    Adam,
This was the first time we had it out of the trailer and that dent surprised me as well.
Yes, we will be at Show Me with the new car. We just hope we have a better result.

    Audi Rally Car 2.0 Update:
First here are some pictures of the drivers front suspension. This is the result of the rock that started the roll.

Here is a cage progress picture

This is what the car looks like now. The new rally car has a logbook and a fresh coat of paint.

Next is the electrical wiring and we make sure the engine runs.
Most parts will switch directly from the previous car so it should go quickly.
Check back for more pictures as we finish up the rebuild.

More Progress on the Rally Car Rebuild/New Build
Engine electrical wiring is done and we have a running car. The video below shows the first start of the engine after the car rolled off stage. It sounds just as good as it did before the roll.
A few more finishing touches and we should be ready to race.

    Default Rally Car Testing

Had a successful initial testing of the car. It all seems to be working well. A few small things to wrap up and we should be ready to race.

I love this car, I love this car, I love this car.

My first car ever in 1989, was an 82' Audi 4000 S 4E quattro. Brings back so many memories of drifting in the snow, and falling asleep at night looking at posters of the Pikes Peak S1 sport quattro on my walls.

I wish you the best of luck in all endeavors.
    Because Racecar...

The first rule of Racecar, is that we do not talk about Racecar.

Thank you for all the encouraging comments about the how the car turned out.
And No the car is not for sale, We want to enjoy racing again.

Here is a few more pictures of the car as we finished up some of the last details.
I will update again after the rally.

We now have all 4 doors with working handles. For all of you that have owned Audi's you will know that working door handles are a rare thing.

Lights and grill are finished, Just need a few vintage Audi stickers and we are ready to race.

Default 100 Acre Wood 2017 Rally Update

    100 Acre Wood 2017 Update.

All went well at the race. No problems at all. It was a good first event for the new car. We started cautiously and increased the pace throughout the event.
Rally-America does not show our finish for the event but we finished well for the first race on the new car
I think we finished 14th in class (34th overall) for day 1 and 6th in class (27th overall) day 2.

Next event will be the Southern Ohio Forests Rally on May 19-20.

    Enjoy the pictures.
