View Full Version : Prodrive tool boxes?

Does anyone know where I could pick up some of the toolcases that Prodrive uses... You know, the briefcase type with the foam insides.

Harbor Freight/Lowes/Menards sells kinda similar units for like $20, but they seem very flimsy and I am sure the Prodrive ones are alot beefier.

I havent been able to find anything close to what I have see at events on the web.. I THINK I saw some of the RallyVW Crew with them at Sno-Drift as well.

I wanna get my crew members some gifts!

Thanks!

I have no idea what you are looking for, but Specialized Products ( http://www.specialized.net ) have some really nice cases:

Demon Tweeks has some soft briefcase type bags that incorporates a tool rool, etc. They are made by Sparco maybe? They aren't too expensive and I want to get one, but it's not worth it for me because of the shipping. Maybe a bigger order wouldn't be so bad.

Matt,

You're talking about the alloy hardcases with re-inforced corners, yes? I don't know where you can get them, but VTCar has them as well.

I'd guess a call to Clint would be the best way to source them. I bet they're expensive though. They look expensive.

Ah, the Prodrive ones are here:

http://www.quentor.com/brochures/general-casestyles.pdf

or alternately, just google "Flight Case" as that's what they're called in the UK.

Huh? Back from the dead? I think the longest I've ever been gone from SS.com is about 45 minutes.

That's a very nice gift, btw.
