I'm trying to get a start into Performance Rally and from the suggestions I've read I'm opting for the path of Crewman -> Co-Driver -> Driver.
I'm a novice wrench and fabricator with about 2 years of Autocross experience in E Modified and some trivial experience prepping cars for Bonneville some years back. I can provide build up pictures and specs of my E Mod car as well as provide a very reputable reference. I'm also willing and hoping to work on prepping the car either hands on or running for parts.
I know the season is winding down and/or over for the year and that's partly why I'm posting this now, so that I can start with a team during a rebuild and prep for next season.
I understand upfront that part of being on the team means taking a couple of days off work every month or so and driving a rig 24+ hours one way to a race.
My profession is computer programming/network engineer and I offer up any skills therein that might be of use to the team as well.
If you are in need of someone like me, or know of a good team for me to contact I would greatly appreciate a chance to talk more with you or them.
Thanks!
