The WCRA will be conducting workshop and on-road training for newcomers and novices interested in TSD rallying. The first workshop takes place near the beginning of April in the BC Lower Mainland and offers an opportunity to learn the ropes before the HEART OF DARKNESS rally. Information is posted on www.rallybc.com Please note the new schedule format with the classroom/theory conducted separately from the on-road practical. Interested out-of-towners should contact john@rallybc.com for further details.

John's post refers to special arrangements for out of town folks like you Skye.

The practical is on a Saturday April 12th. Using an evening classroom session allows us to add much more practical experience to the one day. For out of town folks we will be providing detailed written instructions to be studied beforehand and compressed classroom session on the Saturday morning before the practicals. There's review sessions during the day so that everyone has a chance to discuss their issues.

Great news. I assumed the Saturday section would be difficult without the Wednesday class session because rallybc.com says:

April 12 (Sat) 0900-1700. On road session. Chilliwack area. Experience a TSD rally. Lots of assistance on hand.NOTE: It is intended that participants attend both days as there will be no classroom on the Saturday.

Skye, you are correct in showing what was posted and we will not make any exceptions for people living in Vancouver even if they have a great excuse for missing the classroom session. However, we have a series of flexible plans to accommodate people like yourself who are coming from afar. Just contact John directly and he'll fill you in.
