Firesuit Torn - Now What?

I found a tear in my old suit while I was going over it tonight. Would a repaired suit be acceptable to RA, NASA and CARS safety stewards? Any tips on the best method to repair it would be appreciated.

The suits have to made from cut and sewn parts - a good repair is no different than original construction.
