I read that Knox Mountain hill climb is the older canadian motorsport event. Has this ever been a rally stage? Or TSD stage? If not, I think it would be so cool if it was! TARMAC!!!:7 }> All you rally BC guys should know about this. Anoyone ever run there rally cars there for fun?

I'm not sure about the history of Knox Mtn, but in recent years Scott Trinder of Vancouver has run this event in various rally cars:

2001: Group 2 Toyota Corolla GTS

2000: Open Class Toyota Celica AlTrac

1999(?) or prior: Group 2 Suzuki Swift GTi

Also, some video from the 2002 event has been posted here:

...just click on "Multimedia" and look under the Videos section

One reason you don't see many rally teams at Knox is that it always conflicts with Bighorn - Victoria Day long weekend. I get a kick out of watching the oncoming traffic when driving up to Bighorn - guessing who's headed for Knox and who's headed for the All British Field Meet in Vancouver - two events that I have missed every year since I got serious about rally.

I my opinion it would make a killer rally spectator stage. Has this ever been used? Or could it be? For PFR maybe!!!!:7
