Marquette/Ishpaming area folks...

I figured I'd try here before the crapshoot that is Craigslist.

I've been accepted to Northern for next year so I'm looking for housing. I'm quite, tidy, I cook and I clean. No pets, don't smoke, go out to the bar once a week or so for a pint and generally just focus on school and Rally.

If anyone has a room to rent, or knows of one, I'd be very interested in hearing about it.

Well, I don't know of any rooms for rent in Marquette but I did spend the night at the Holiday Inn there once. It was in 1976 for the Marquette 1000. The one thing I'd warn you about if you stay there is don't drink from the plastic glasses. I think they are tainted. At the pre-rally party we were drinking beer from the free keg and as soon as we got outside after the party my wife puked all over the front steps of the hotel. I'm sure she must have gotten a bad plastic glass.

So avoid the glasses, and watch out for a stain on the steps.

It will be geat having you in the UP.... We have a very active Autocross program with 6-7 events all season long... There is also a great group of car nuts.. nmucc.com ( NMU's car club ) Along with MTU now starting one too... That should keep you out of trouble lol...

PS I still have that old lap top we need to extract those videos from Sno Drift 2007..

PS: Sign up at the www.nmucc.com site and post up in there for housing. These guys have a lot of ins around teh area...

just out of curuiousity, what are you going for? and was MTU an optoin? of course, i'm biased, but i like it here. anywho, i have 2 buddies that are both graduating andi know there house (has 3 spots) is going to be needing a couple of roomates!! btw, congrats on acceptance!! even if its not MTU.

So then just out of shear curiousity, are you still codriving w/ dillon in teh fall? i'm sure if he comes up to LSPR, you will. I actually just buzzed him tonight and if i would have know i would have asked.

Anyways, since i go to MTU and know alot of people over at NMU, i can prolly hook you up. if you want, PM me and i'll see what i can do!
