Hello My name is Tyler, Im from Napa CA. I have been a long time reader but thought I had to introduce myself someday! Anyhoo.. 2 years of RallyX and now am getting into stage rally. My Rally Car is a 2002 Subaru WRX and am building it to conform to Rally America SP. CRS Nasa Open. My Roll cage is being installed on March 21st. Other then a shakedown date in September, I hope to make my debut drive at Prescott this year in October. Ok Thanks everyone!:)

First off, Welcome! Good luck with your foray into stage rally.

Second off, All the normal stuff... check the rulebooks, both NASA and RA from the sound of it. They are online and I found out the RA one at least is searchable! Read them, read them and then read them. Really pay attention to the RA newbie policy: SP is not OL...

Do you have a local Scruit. to catch little cage stuff before it get's big? Which logbook you going for? Has your builder done RALLY cages?

I'm sure you've found the stickies here. Can't hurt to run them from the top if it's been awhile.

Thanks guys! I plan on competing in CARS for my first events. Not looking at running SP for a long time. Unless I hit the lotto. Richard Buckner From Oregon is building my roll cage. Paul Eklund Sent me his way. He builds Paul's cages. My dog will only sit in the race seat in the garage now :)

Ok! and for some updates! The car is done!! other then I am saving for my Hotbitz.... I have so much respect for any and all motorsports teams now. Lots of hours in the garage away from the family etc. But Its been fun! I am doing some testing at a rallyX race in 3 weeks. So far It drives great. My fist event will be Desert storm.

Very nice car! Sod the hot bits...go get some 04 STI road struts off Ebay and get Barrett at all wheels driven to modify them for rally more bang for ya buck. Fit a coil over kit and you will be even better.
