Peltor helmet expiration/certification?

How can I determine when a used Peltor helmet (G7 in this case) is expired? Apparently they don't use the Snell rating system.

What does it have for a certification label ? British Standard or FIA and what are the accompaning numbers?

A Peltor should have the BS sticker on the outside. Per RA you need "2. British Standards: BS 6658-85 type A/FR, including all amendments." It should have a date of manufacture on it.

RA does not state an expiration date for helmets, but suggests replacing after five years.
