Well I'm going to be a new driver soon and I'm having a concern about the gloves. My problem is that I'm a little disfigured in the right hand, so a normal right handed glove wouldnt work for me at all. Am I going to have to find a way to find a customized approved racing style glove, or have to deal with a normal one?

AFAIK since gloves arnt required by the rules you can put pretty much whatever you want on your hands, ie gardening gloves, oven mitt, medieval gauntlets... (well maybe not anything you want.) You can use no gloves too, if you prefer.

The cheaper OMP gloves would be really easy to modify and still look good - nice soft, but thick material.

Oven mitt racing gloves would be a funny thing to see.

A friend of mine has exceptionally small hands. She had a set of leather gloves tailored by a cobler. It was really cheap ~$20 and they now fit perfect.
