In case anyone's wondering about the the Tigris material, I sent an inquiry to the company b/c I was thinking it might be worth looking at for my PPIHC car.

The NASCAR guys use a sheet that's 4'x6'x'0.5", weighs 48 lbs. and retails for $880. The can also do different sizes and thicknesses, but this isn't something that's on the shelf, so minimum order quantities apply.
