are there any saftey harness manufacturers that will re-certify their belts for free in the US ??

I doubt you'll find anybody, since it's not a "recertify", it's "reweb". They replace all the belt material, and just reuse the hardware.

I've found less and less places do this. (rewebbing)
I do think G-Force will let you ship your belts in for re-webbing, and its like $60... (but they have to be G-Force brand)

Go to Crowe Enterprises in Anaheim. Got my 6 points there. Took them down, had only one event on them and got them 'recertified' for a total of $12. Great harnesses by the way.

How old were they (year wise)???

Impact will do a swap -- send in your old belts, they send you new belts. Any manufacturer, any condition. Downside is they're SFI but I think its still $70 or less.

If you're talking about an exchange of belts, you can buy new GForce 5 pt SFI belts for $70 and sell the olds on Craigslist.
