Wow, that roll over happened fast. I wonder what exploded in the hood that caused the fire.

That guy was quick with the extinguisher and fairly skilled...but if he were a corner worker on a racetrack, he'd be criticized for standing on the track with his back to traffic. You never neglect your own safety to rescue a car...the driver and codriver were out and safe already.
Somebody figure out what went "poof". I've never seen that except in the movies.

The "poof" is from the sudden ignition of gasoline vapors in the relatively confined underhood area. Anyone who has worked long enough in a garage to see one light up has seen this...a very distinctive sound too!
Judging from the damage to the hood, a fuel line, fitting, or the fuel rail was damaged in the roll causing a fuel leak, which vaporized on the hot engine.
