A conference such as this is ideal for scruitineers, sanctioning body officials and rally car fabricators, I believe it is open to anyone, but SAE members attend at a substantial discount. This conference is held every 2 years.

Some of the technical seminars are based on published papers, but others are not, some are round table and informal discussions.

The chairman of the SAE Motorsports Engineering Conference committee is Michael Royce, the Chief of Scruitineering for the Sno*Drift Rally.

I will be attending.

Wish I could go but not in my job description at the moment.

By the way, not only am I an SAE member but I am also an NFPA member so I try to keep track of what is going on with NFPA 610 Safety at Motorsport Venues.
