After the Practice stage I'm planning on having a little BBQ at my place in Painesdale. So from approximately 7:30 until whenever. Anyone is invited, competitors, service crews, wives, childs, etc.

If you break your car at the practice stage or just need to work on it, bring it with you. We can have good old fashioned car fixin/bbq action going on. There's probably enough room for a couple service rigs and cars can park up and down the street, its really wide and there is barely any traffic.

Things to bring. Stuff you want to grill, stuff you want to drink. I might have some burgers and brats but it'd work best if we go pot luck style and everyone bring something small for themselves or to share. Bring your rally car too, if you want. It'll impress my neighbors (or piss them off.)

How to get to my house? Take M-26 past the Copper Country Mall (Parc Expose) out of Houghton, stay on that and you'll go through South Range, Tri Mountain, and then you come to Painesdale. its about 7 miles from the Mall. Go through Painesdale until you see a sign on the right that says "Chassell" with an arrow to the left. Turn left on that street, its called Kearsarge. I'm about the 4th house down on the left, mustard yellow with a badass rally car out front. Street address is 15348 Kearsarge St Painesdale MI 49955 for you googly people.

One thing to mention. I have two cats, they are indoor cats and have never been free outside. At the end of this shindig I would like to have the same two cats. So please if you're coming in and out of the house MAKE SURE THE CATS STAY INSIDE! I might just end up locking them up in a room depending on how many people show up.

If I show up in my Carhartts, will it be considered dressing up as a Yooper?

True story. When we were remodeling our house a few years ago, my wife went to work one day still wearing her Carhartts. One of her co-workers spotted her and gasped "Are those Carhartts?" Turns out she had a daughter that had just started at MTU, and she had called home desperate for her mom to buy her Carhartts clothing, because "all the cool kids here wear them!"
