$600 for Laughlin...WOW!

Got a Dual Sporter this year and finally got it sorted out. Since I sold the rally car I thought maybe a RallyMoto (tm) event might be fun...NOT FOR $600.

Last desert race cost $45...100 miles of fast open desert...actually some of the roads are BLM service roads.

Whew...I guess I have been away too long (@ 1 year)...times have changed.

I just looked at the entry pages. It's 60% of the car price, which has been about typical. Sandblast RallyMoto(tm) entry was $250, for one day, Laughlin is three days. Other than "It's a big rally" I don't know what to say, dollars per mile it seems roughly in line.

HA! I thought, looking at the title "$600 for Laughlin... WOW!" that most of the cars guys would be thinking the WOW was a good wow at that price. ;)

It's all relative, naturally.

To bad this is clashing with the Baja 1000, we might have seen top class riders show..

Well yeah in comparison to a $40 vintage motocross fee it seems steep but if we brought 150 bikes we'd probably get a much better rate.

So $600 is alot to for a "motorcyle" race but for a 3 day Rally it's a deal.
