I have 1 min 43 sec of video from HW1 SS1, it's only a few seconds of each car, but I believe it has every car that started. It's at the exit of a med right/med left combo into a 1/4 mile straight very near the finish (the same area where Holder/Holder rolled and Dondlinger/Parps went off & back on during SS2).

Isn't that the engine that crew chief Harry Hogg "stole" and put into Cole Trickle's car in Days of Thunder?

That is the first vid I've seen that has the engine up on full song. I LOVE that car. As to the Ricky Bobby references, sorry, I haven't seen the movie yet but it is out on the movie channels soon so I will finally see it.

When I bought the car from Mike we had a conversation about going to a swapmeet and buying a BGN engine. That might be the next step!

Did I say I love that car?

BGN = Buick Grand National

BGN = Busch Grand National methinks....although the Buick GN's are awesome, I think they would be outside the rules.

so Mark....is the 100mph-wheelspin just not *quite* heart-stopping enough for you?

I know a little about what it's like to wrangle the 302 on gravel...and that is scary enough, thank you.

In this context, I did mean Busch Grand National. 600 Hp... yea buddy.

As to the wheelspin at 100, it does get your attention.

Mark:

Went to Elko the other night. They have spectator drags as part of the program. I think you need to tote the Mustang down and have some fun with the folks. MacDonald and I will come down and help out.

I'm not sure the car would do all that well at spec drags. On top of that, there's another idiot just like me on the track at the same time. That is a MAJOR concern.

Mark, you underestimate yourself...there is no other idiot quite like you. :)

Trust me, it wouldn't be that bad Mark. You would have a blast out there. And you would probably get alot of people pumped up for rally!!!!!

Brad, it was a good show out there, wasn't it? Too bad the train races only lasted about a 1/4 of a lap!!
