How do you get fitted for a drivers suit I want to get one before Sno*Drift

1) find a shop in your area that sells suits and try one on. any race shops should do
2) check out the measurements online, and do a best guess
3) find someone locally who races and try their suit on? ewww.....

Most suit manufacturers will have a sizing guide, where they show a drawing of a person and indicate where to measure different parts of the body. Have another person measure you up, and then compare to the dimensions of a premade suit, or send in your measurements for a custom fit suit.
Keep in mind, the average American is 20lbs overweight, so US manufactured suits tend to run big. Euro suits are more trim, but more expensive. There are a couple domestic manufacturers that will do custom suits for about the price of premade suits. Speed Sport Uniforms, and I think Leaf up in Canada come to mind.

I just looked @ my measurements when I ordered my Sparco suit.
My Sparco sz 60 fire suit fits better than my Carrera sz 60 karting suit.
