If anyone in this part of the country is interested, the One Lap of America and its ProRally contingent visits the Tulsa Speedway (http://www.tulspeedway.com/) for some dirt-trackin' this morning and then it's back to the asphalt on Hallett Motor Racing Circuit (http://www.hallettracing.com/) this afternoon. In the best tradition of the "take your daughter to work days" I'm taking Hannah. See you there ...

Mike Hurst, Ben Greisler, Scott Carlborn and at least one other name familiar in ProRally circles (that escapes me at the moment) visited northeast Oklahoma Sunday 5 May 2002, so my daughter Hannah and I spent the day at the Tulsa Speedway Sunday morning(http://www.realautosport.com/images/OneLap02/Speedway/Speedway.html) and Hallett Motor Racing Circuit that afternoon(http://www.realautosport.com/images/OneLap02/Hallett/Hallett.html) hanging out, shooting the breeze, snapping pictures and helping out anyone who was troubled by the challenges of Hallett's 1.8 mile, 11-turn, natural terrain road course. Well, I did the last thing. No one wanted to listen to Hannah about such things for some reason.

Possibly Jeff Denmeade? He was on the One Lap entry list in a Porsche. He and Satch Carlson ran Cherokee Trails this year.

Yessir - that's the name I heard! Don't believe I got to chat with that gentleman, but thta's the name.

Speaking of Satch, how'd I not find out he was there until after I'd gotten home? And why is Zimmer looking so worried in that pic you posted?
