Will CFR have designated speccie points? Or none at all....

If so, will there be a simple speccie map, or guide? or this info posted on the website?

I have some friends/family who want to attend, and I want to make sure they can find their way easily. (First rally)

Thanks!

CFR will have published spectator locations. Simple spectator maps and directions will be available starting Friday in Cadillac. Look for them at Rally HQ during Registration Friday & Saturday and at Park Expo Saturday.

Unfortunately, we will not be posting spectator information on the web.

Matt-

Remember, if they sign up to work, they get the better spots! Signup is on the website (below).

Will the times and miliage be such that some service crew members will be able to sneak out to the spectator points and see a few cars? These guys are coming a long way, and I'd like for them to see more than a Meijer parking lot. :)

Dennis,

IMHO, your service crew would be able to get out and hit the spectator spots. They might have to split and some go one time and some go another, but it could be managed.

In theory, it would be possible for every service crew to make it to spectator location on Stage 1, watch their car go by and all before it, hang around for a few extra cars and then still get back to service before you arrive.

Bottom line, the answer is definately yes..... And more than once...

But your crew will need someway to get there besides the service
vehicle. Note in the sups:

"No service vehicles will be allowed at spectator areas."

just fyi. My crew asked about this one.

You could self-service and get the crew to work a few stages.

The services are 90 minutes and 50 minutes, plenty of time to put gas in and check the brakes and eat a snack.

Stay on the road and this should be no problem!

Oh, I like that plan very much. Lots of workers need for this one.

Of course I like that idea........:7
