Any snow rallies on the horizon? We do live in the Arctic Midwest! :7

Pro/Club or TSD?

There are 4-5 potential Sno Performance Rallies, 2 in the US: Maine Winter (Dec.?) and Sno*Drift (Jan, 24-25). 3 in Canada starting with Tall Pines in November and two in January and/or February (sorry can't remeber all the names).

For TSD I know there is a whole series in the NY Finger Lakes Area. Detroit Region will put on at least one, and I am sure there is a smattering of others -- best to check your region web-board.

Good Luck,
Mike

Tim Winker will undoubtedly jump in here with a plug for the Minnesota Winter Rally Series...lots of snow, brisk speeds. Check http://www.arrowheadscc.org/

Even 'tho it was 65 degrees on Rally day last February, I wouldn't bet against the Trespassers Wil and 100 Acre Wood qualifying. Back in the OLD days (it's ALWAYS the old days....) we had a 26" snowfall on the preceding Thursday.

The two you are most likely think of are:

Rallye Perce-Neige Maniwaki http://www.lino.com/~rallyperceneige/
feb 7-9 2003

Rallye International de Québec http://www.rallyedequebec.com/
February 26th to March 2nd 2003

which I think is backwards order from last year.
I higly recommend Québec. I've not been free to do
perce-neige last couple years so no comments.

I think there are some Nov & Dec rallysprints in Québec
as well if you have to find some snow ;)

Also highly recommended. Long forest stages with snowbanks to bounce off, stuff into, or half-roll off (done all of the above).

Adrian

BTW Ed, the half-roll off a snowbank was done in your rallycar...
