There's going to be a rallycross on Oct.13th and Nov.17th(as soon as Bruce gets and signs the paperwork ;-) )
Who wants to come?
Who needs directions?
It'll be $20 for members and $25 non-members
There's been a rallycross drought in this area and this might be a regular thing if I get a good turn out for these two events
Thank You

I am planning to go with my rally car, I think Ed Wahl might bring his, anyone else?
(I won't be running the car -- as I am safety steward -- just a course opening car so to speak.)

Mike,
In my opinion, it's imperative that the Safety Steward takes an occasional run at speed through the course. How else can you determine if the course is safe?

Sorry my mistake about where it is :+
The rallycross is in Butler Co. at a farm on 3481 Shank rd. Hamilton OH 45013.
Shank rd.is on US 27.There is several ways to get to US 27 but the best is from I275 and get off at the Colerain ave./US 27 exit. The exit is 13 miles west of I71,9.5 miles west of I75,if you were coming from the north and 5 miles east of I74,if from the west.If you coming from the south use I74 through the city it's quicker, less traffic and so much more prettier, with the leaves changing color when you go through Mt.Airy Forest area.:D
Once you get off the expressway at the Colerain ave./US 27 exit go north about 9 miles til you reach Millville. At the second light turn left,it's still US 27.Shank rd.is 3 miles from Millville.
Shank rd on some maps is show on one side of US 27 it's actually on both sides. You want the gravel driveway looking side. You'll see signs out front.
I hope this is OK for directions
Registration will be 8:00-10:30 am drivers meeting at 11:00am first car out after that
Ed you got an email with directions
See You There

Cool, thanks for the directions.
So the big question all the folks I've talked to want
to know is: How rough is this field? And can things
like Solo2 cars survive?
I know my rally car won't have too much trouble. ;)
But I'd guess I ought to run later to avoid chewing
up the track.

Conditions on the course are,,,ahh,,,boring. No jumps,no bumps and no ruts, yet.Solo II cars should have no problems unless they are lowered.I'll be digging out the big rocks and roots on saturday.that should take me about an hour or two.If it does rain it will be slick.
This course was set up by the land owner prior to my involvement with
him and this rallycross.Mike Bodnar was happy that it was a fairly
flat area and good for the beginners. This course only takes up 1/3 of the
field that we are using. So expansion will happen if this becomes part of the Cincy region's normal race schedule and its rougher in the other 2/3
of the field. With a possible water crossing in the future :9 just dreams.
For all the SoloII drivers I say : Don't Worry,Be Happy :D
See you at Rasche's farm
