hillclimbs?

has anyone ever been to MT. frotenac ski area and golf course? in the sumer they have a golf course on the top if the bluffs and an awesome twisty blacktop road up to the top. after reading about the revival of the Hershey PA hillclimb it got me thinking. and that can be abad thing sometimes since th idea wont go away untill it is fully explored and takes over my life and leaves me w/no time for anything else. so the point is what about a tarmac hillclimb event in s.mn?
would this fall under the rally dept.? if we go up down and then back up could we bill it as a rallysprint. what are the prep. rules for hillclimbs? there are lots of roads like this in mn and wisc could this be another series? i dont want to overload competitors and organizers so we would need some new blood for sure. and finally has this been done before in cendiv?

Typically hillclimbs fall under Solo I rules within SCCA. There should be no reason why it could not also be taken on as a Rallysprint.

this would have to be a one time spring event sometime between the closing of the ski hill and the opening of the golf course since im sure no golf course owner will want to close the only road to his course on a saturday or sunday in june.
so is this worth pursuing? any interest? should it be a hillclimb or a rally sprint?
because i am more than happy to do some legwork to see if it can happen but i dont want to try and organize something if there is no need/desire for it from a competitor stand point.

Stacy and I would be interested in running it. I worked at Frontenac back in my sophmore year at college and that road up to the top is sweet!!

On another note...does anyone know much about Snake Creek Trail or Trout Valley trail just south of wabasha?? I heard some people take their 4x4 trucks out there. I've never been out there so I don't know what it's like. Is there a chance for a rallysprint back in that area??
