Howdy Cen Div folks, I have returned!!

I am taking a job in Columbus, Ohio and very much looking forward to it.

Not sure yet if I'll make it to Headwaters, but I hope to.

In the meantime I know there are a couple of Ohio Rallyists -- if your paying attention to the Forum, send me a note! (And where is that damn Honda plant anyhow?)

See ya in the woods,
Mike

Mike Burke is in Columbus. I'm sure you've at least met him before. He used to run a black Audi 4000 with yellow on the front. He took a few years off to fight cancer and has been talking about coming back. I believe the Ottey's are also in the neighborhood, but I've never seen them on SpecialStage.

Welcome back!

Mike, you're now in a perfect position to motivate all those ex-Sunriser folks in Southern Ohio and thereabouts to get a ClubRally going in Ohio...Kentucky...Indiana...wherever.

Welcome to the Buckeye State. There are quite a few of us Buckeye old farts in the forums. The Honda Plant is near Marysville NW of Columbus along US 33. In addition to Tom Otey you should look out for Yorgi Bitner, Dick Paddock and Eric Jones. All live in the area, but don't lurk on this site.

Gee Bruce, is Sno*Drift not enough:P ?

Yep -- I already have the maps out...

I like the old Sunriser roads (the one's I ran -- against Mike Burke! a few years ago), but they were cost prohibitive, so I'll be thinking of moving east and south.

Also might be a good possibility of TARMAC...

No promises, and I will need all the good Ohio people to jump in, but me thinks a club rally is a great idea.

:)

Too many wanna-be rally drivers here already. ;)
Send him back east or better yet back to MI. hehe.
Send us more co-drivers, darnit! }>

Well, look me up when you get into town Mike. I'll hook
you up with Mike Burke, Tom&Pam, Yorgi, etc. Lots of young
folks around here that could easily be motivated.
Couple guys have cars or are building them.
Not many folks left from the old Sunriser gang though.

And be aware the local region is VERY rally-hostile,
ever since the last sunriser. But things are changing
as the 'old guard' retire from the region leadership.

I think West Virginia would make an awesome rally
area if we could avoid being shot at. ;)
