The SSIRC needs some updating.
Paul Dunn isn't even listed in the overall standings. After taken 10th overall in OFPR and WWPR, he should be up there. That would put him with 11 points in which position? :+

The SSIRC utilizes FIA based scoring.

1st = 10 pts
2nd = 6 pts
3rd = 4 pts
5th = 3 pts
6th = 2 pts
7th = 1 pt

The spread sheet has been updated, but we are waiting on the admin to post them for us.

Ray & others,

Thanks for you concern for us co-drivers.

Currently, SpecialStage.com and the Independents Cup does not give out points or Cup Awards to Co-Drivers. There are multiple reasons for that, but the biggest is money.

Currently, SpecialStage.com is struggling to pay our bills just to keep the site up and running. Due to the extremely poor sales of the North American Rally Calendars this year, I am not even sure that we will be able to find the funding needed to present the 2003 Cup awards for 2003.

As always, I will do everything that I can to give the rally community what it deserves, but we are in a really hard situation right now, and growth this year will be extremely difficult. Other programs have already need cut for 2003, and I am doing my best to find a way to continue the Cup awards.

PS Yes, we will follow the FIA's mandate and go to the new point structure if we are able to continue to give this award.

This cup you do is awesome, and much appreciated. The trophy is really cool - the best award you win! Even just one for the team is a mighty great thing. Thanks for all you guys at ss.com do!
